This blog was started over a year ago. Originally it was my intent for it to be a mix of politics and anything else that came to mind. Since then I have decided to make a new blog of only political articles. That blog is called Deedon’s Blog. You can find it at www.deedonsblog.com.
All of the political articles published originally here have been moved to Deedon’s Blog. This blog will deal with lighter subject matter, or at least other non-political matters.

About this blog
When I started this blog it was mostly for political rants. I have created a new blog called Deedon’s Blog for the political stuff and this blog will now be just a place for me to write about things on my mind. Silly things, sometimes, not so silly other times. But not political. The range of subjects may be wide spread. Some, hopefully, will be humorous. Others will be there to get you to think about things you may not think of much. . . but perhaps you should. For the political stuff, go to www.deedonsblog.com.

My name is David Deedon and I have had a number of nicknames over the years. Most I did not like. One that I did like was Derby. Prior to starting this blog, I have not been called Derby for a very long time. However, since David is such a common name, I have decided to use Derby for my username on this blog.
