I did very much delight in your initial post, Derby. You sound thoughtful and creative - and surely Margaret does delight in you! She so deserves the happiness you have brought to her life! We started out with a Mac back in the mid 80's, then changed over for 20+ years to the Windows world. Our Dell laptops were constantly bogging down and glitching up and the virus protectors created an increasingly sloooowing computer. We finally, bit the bullet and went back to the Apple - and seriously, as I said before, in 3 years, we've not had glitch one - nor do we have the layers of protection required in the Window-based machines. If you have time and are savvy, you can keep things going. Surely, there is a $ factor, don't think it is a lot, though. Love my Apple. . .
